New base: we’re opening our doors and you’re invited!

There’s nothing better than a block party for a chance to meet the neighbours! Alinghi Red Bull Racing will host an open house for the public at its new team base on Thursday afternoon, 21 September 2023 – and everyone is welcome, free of charge.

This will be the first and only scheduled time the public is invited to enter the base, to see in-person what goes on behind the scenes at the team base, catch a glimpse of the inner-workings of an America’s Cup team, discover the boats up-close within the compound and meet the team. There will also be scheduled shows, DJ music, exhibitions and possibly a few surprises.

The sailors and team members will be onsite during the afternoon to share their passion and highlight the Alinghi Red Bull Racing campaign

The open house takes place just before the start of the popular Fiesta de la Mercè weekend in Barcelona. Doors will open at 16h00 on 21 September and stay open until 21h00.

Happening just a few days after the first America’s Cup Preliminary Regatta in Vilanova i la Geltrú, the evening is a unique opportunity to get to know the Swiss Challenger up close with less than a year to go until the start of the 37th America's Cup.

Whether you are local or from further afield, a huge sailing fan or just a casual follower, stop by and say hi -- we hope to see you all there!

The team base is located at Port Vell, between the Maremagnum and the Aquarium at Plaça de l’Odissea, C/ Moll d’Espanya 6, 08039 Barcelona.
